You can drop off your wonderful donations of good quality clothes and household items to your local Vinnies shop during business hours. You can also place donations into the donation bins provided.

Because the St. Vincent de Paul Society sells items to support our programs, we cannot accept donated items that we cannot sell. Please do not donate items that are ripped, stained, broken, missing parts, or otherwise unusable or in need of repair. All electronics and appliances should be less than 10 years old and in working order.

Donations are accepted at both our stores during: Open Hours: West 7th St 12th Ave So Mon – Fri 9:30 am – 5:00 pm 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Sat 9:30 am – 3:00 pm 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Both Stores have donation doors located at the back of the stores -, Smaller items must be bagged or boxed whether it is for an in-store donation drop off or pick-up. For pick-ups, please have items outside on the street level and clearly labeled for St. Vincent de Paul. For the safety of our employees, loose items will not be accepted. Does SVdP go.

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul gratefully accepts gently used household items and furniture that’s clean and free of all tears, stains, smoke, bed bugs, and pet hair. All fabric covered furniture (especially sofas & chairs) must be vacuumed thoroughly (including under the cushions) prior to acceptance.

Please be advised that we are currently not scheduling any donation pick ups. Drop-off donations are being accepted at our 1010 Craigflower and 2784 Claude Rd between 10am-4pm. Capacity is limited and we are not accepting any donations of furniture. We are proud of our multiple locations across the Greater Victoria area.

What We Accept Vincentians frequently experience (or hear of others’ experience) with our Store pick-up service that donated items were refused by the dispatcher or the driver. Attitudes may have developed that our operation is “picky” or does not have a need for merchandise.
